Make A Camera Spin/Rotate Around Animation in Blender!
A quick tip to make a camera spin around object to make it look cinematic when presenting it!
So, What we're going to explain today was a little bit tricky before i find the solution to share it with you so everyone can make its own, I've been struggling with it a lot, when your object is in the center of your scene and you wanna rotate your camera around it, you change the pivot point to what is in the center, the 3D cursor as an example and then it looks cool and you wanna make it like an animation? you try key-framing but it does not work as expected, as the pivot point does not apply to key-frames, well this is different than a turntable animation, we're animating the camera here not the object itself, you may have already guessed by looking to the picture above, if not yet, follow along and you'll make it!
1. First thing to do is Creating an empty, and make sure that the empty is in the center of the main object than you want the camera to rotate around, to create an empty, Go Shift + A, Select Empty and then Plain Axis, you can scale it if you want for better visibility, it does not affect the end result!
2. Select the Camera, then hold Shift and Select the Empty that you just created, Click Ctrl + P to parent the camera to the empty, and Select Object.
3. Now you're ready to go, all you have to do is key-frame the Rotation parameters of the Empty and the camera will follow along, in the expected way! you can still animate the camera separately!
