Links is a web browser, but probably not like your prefered browser that you're currently using to read this page, links doesn't have a graphical interface, it loads in terminal, Linux's terminal. something to keep in mind, It won't work the same way as you are expecting it to do! it probably doesn't play youtube videos neither it can run web applications.
To try Links yourself you will need a linux distribution installed, you can go with debian as an example, after you install it on a virtual machine with some software like virtualbox or vmware, you launch the Terminal, type in su, type your password and then you will have to type in :
"apt-get install links", it will download immediatly, it's only a few kbs.

How to use it?
Pressing ESC will show the top menu, from there you can set URLs to access, it won't load pages as fast though, but it works. you move throughout the page via your keyboard, using the arrows the switch between links and enter for entering web pages.
